The Olympians

In the world of Poseidon’s Academy, the Olympians were twelve gods deemed more powerful than the rest. Each of them possessed the ability to dematerialise, conjure anything—including fireballs—telekinesis, and immortality. Here’s a list of the Olympians and their powers.

Aphrodite: goddess of love and beauty
* Control any man by casting a love spell on them
* Change how beautiful someone looks

Apollo: god of the sun, music, and prophecy
* Conjure a mini sun
* Shoot sunlight from his hands
* Play any musical instrument
* See the future

Ares: god of war
* Expert at fighting and using any weapon

Artemis: goddess of the moon, the hunt, and wild animals
* Shoot moonlight from her hands
* Talk to animals, including monsters and creatures

Athena: goddess of wisdom and war
* Absorb knowledge from books without even having to open them
* Absorb memories from people’s minds

Demeter: goddess of agriculture
* Control plants
* Make plants grow without even using a seed

Hephaestus: god of fire and metalworking
* Mould metal into anything with just the touch of his hand

Hera: goddess of marriage / Queen of the Gods
* Control the emotions of married couples–bring them closer together or tear them apart

Hermes: god of travel / messenger of the gods
* Super speed
* Sees dead people–his job is to help them pass to the other side

Hestia: goddess of the hearth
* Imbue burning fireplaces with emotions, such as love and happiness, that spread to everyone sitting around the fire

Poseidon: god of the sea
* Control water
* Breathe underwater
* Command sea-creatures and sea-monsters

Zeus: god of the sky / King of the Gods
* Control the sky/weather
* Shoot lightning from his fingertips
